Man from Plainsboro Dies at 29 in Hamerton
John Satterthwait aged 29 died Friday at his parents home in Hamerton. He moved to Plainsboro about ten years ago and worked for Walker Gordon Laboratory Co. He enlisted early in World War I, served two years at Camp Green South Carolina, and attained Sergeant first class. Survived by parents and a brother Lawrence in South Dakota. He was a past councilor of Plainsboro Jr. O U A M and a member of Apollo Lodge Cranbury. Funeral held Wednesday at the parental home.

Arrests on Main Street Lead to Bail Hearings
Arrested by Constable Martin on Main Street Tuesday evening William Decker of Hightstown faced charges of breaking and entering the Pennsylvania Railroad ticket office and rifling the cash drawer. He was held on 1000 dollar bail. Decker was turned over to Hightstown authorities for the subsequent bail and processing on the concealed weapon charge.

Christmas Carols Wake Town Before Daybreak
A twenty five member carol choir led by Lemuel Stults sang through the town between 4:00 and 6:00 AM on Christmas morning. They received coffee and doughnuts, then cookies at Charles Groves home before continuing to Hightstown to sing until daybreak. The event drew residents to windows and honored the birth of Christ.

The Cranbury firemen cleared 875 dollars from a Wednesday eve dance in Central Garage. Auto dancing added 375 dollars. Perrine's orchestra provided music. At midnight an auto drawing awarded prizes to five holders, including Charles M. Rogers of Hightstown and others from Rahway Princeton Trenton Hightstown. The winning car was an Overland touring.
