Brotherhood Opens Meeting For Armenian Relief Drive
A Sunday December meeting at Cranbury's Brotherhood will feature Rev Bedros K Apelian speaking on aiding Armenian and Syrian Christians. Proceeds go 100 percent to relief, with donations supporting winter shelter and clothing through the Armenian and Syrian Galié committee. A large audience gathered Tuesday evening at Schultz Memorial Church to present a donation to Rev and Mrs H F Doran. A church supper, music by the Cranbury orchestra and recitations by Princeton friends followed, with attendance including Professor Smith Henry Beltman Verduin Russell Woltz Edna Compton and Hightstown’s 8 S McCurdy. About two hundred fifteen dollars was raised for the pastor, pleasing the committee and congregation.
