The Cranbury public school will open Monday September 18 not September 11 as usual. The architect and contractor promise the old part ready for occupancy then. Old Bridge Plant Sold by Perth Amboy Broker
Max L. Scott, a Perth Amboy real estate broker, announced the sale of the Brookfield Glass Company plant and property at Old Bridge. The buyer’s name and price are not public. the buyer is a client of New York attorney William J. Burke. The plant lies on the Camden & Amboy division of the Pennsylvania railroad with docks on the South River, and about 150 acres are involved. Renovation is expected soon and it is unclear if glass manufacturing will continue.

Road Building Boosts Paving Sand Production in New Jersey
