Judge William B Yard of Trenton Dies at 87
Former Trenton judge William B Yard died yesterday at 2 PM after a brief illness following a seaside trip. He was born in Trenton and aged 87 last November. Yard served in the New Jersey legislature in 1870 and 1877 and spent 25 years as a lay judge of the county court of common pleas. He became a life member of the New Jersey Historical Society in 1881.

Hightstown, Aug 24. Dr Charles K Hazard, ill with a nervous breakdown, was yesterday moved to the New Jersey State Hospital. He left Williams College at the outbreak of war to enlist in the Twenty-eighth Massachusetts Volunteers. He is a member of the Grand Army Post No 107 and a past grand commander of the Knights Templar of New Jersey and past master of Hightstown Lodge No 41 F and A M. One of the greatest mistakes a man makes is thinking that he isn't going to make any.
