Methodist Services and Cemetery Monuments Noted

The Rev C W Heisley will preach at 10 30 AM on the difference between a worldly good man and a Christian good man. Death of Joseph Walters Waitnight brings sorrow to family

Joseph Walters Waitnight aged youngest son of Mr and Mrs J Walters Waitnight died Monday night at his grandparents home Mr and Mrs James H Goodwin after months of illness. Funeral services were held Thursday at 2 pm at the grandparents home conducted by Rev Adolphs Allen and interment followed in Second Presbyterian Cemetery under the direction of A S Cole Son & Co.

Struck by an Automobile On a New Jersey Roadside

Reports describe Jake Cohen of New York and a companion bicycling to Philadelphia when struck at Hightstown by M J C Williams of Trenton. The car moved slowly. Cohen’s companion fled unharmed. The bicycle was damaged but no serious injuries. The driver paid damages willingly and was not blamed for the accident.

Hightstown East Windsor Voters Back School House Plan

East Windsor township approved a 25000 dollar appropriation for a new school house but rejected both proposed sites. An earlier vote also failed the same amount and the three sites. The district will call another election within weeks to decide the site and consider integrating the new building with the existing structure.
