Deer are said to be plentiful around Bear swamp and have troubled local farmers by grain damage. Newark Brothers Die In Truck Collision En Route To Cantonment
A. E. Miller of Newark converted his car into an undertaker vehicle to move his brother M. R. Miller’s body after a collision with a heavy truck. A. E. Miller drove the body home, collapsed, and told the family the sad news. M. R. Miller was killed instantly when his car crashed while attempting to pass his brother’s car. The truck driver was declared blameless.

Hold Up at Grover's Mills Robbery on Lonely Road Near Princeton
Two masked men raided Walter H. Holman near Grover's Mills on Sunday night. They forced him to drive, searched pockets and took 71 dollars while missing 60 dollars, a gold watch, and 400 dollars in checks. Holman reported to Chief Norris. suspects described as two men about 5'10", one heavier with light clothes, the other lighter with dark features. The car had no license plate.
