Death of Mrs. Matilda Mount Riggs at Cranbury Neck
Mrs Matilda Mount wife of Marsena Riggs died Tuesday April 16 at her Cranbury Neck home. She is survived by her husband one sister Mrs Peter Perrine and two brothers William Mount of Trenton and Hiram Mount of Ohio. Funeral Friday at 2 30 pm at her late home with services by Rev Dr Stanton assisted by Rev Dr Tyack.

War Work Meeting Held At Hightstown Baptist Church
A Saturday afternoon musicale at the Hightstown Baptist Sunday school room drew a large audience of women invited by Mrs. Frank L. McFerran and others. Melancholy report notes spring work on a farm stalled because Harvey, the farmer's son, lay ill. Jacob Rue a 70 year old Englishtown resident, killed himself by ingesting carbolic acid at a local drugstore and in the barn of JP William Conover. His death leaves a wife and Harvey as survivors.
