Robbery at Prospect Plains Store and Post Office

Amateurs forced entry to Abijab Applegate’s general store and village post office at Prospect Plains early Wednesday, stealing about $10 in cash and goods valued near $100 while a freight train blocked noise. The safe was opened but no Post Office valuables were taken. burglar alarm had been neglected twice before.

Mad dog Heralds Havoc Near Cranbury and Hightstown

A mad dog attacked several children and dogs in Cranbury Neck Hightstown and Princeton Junction. Victims include Ethel Rogers five, and two Holmes children. A Ward child and a nearby colored family child were bitten. The animal was killed and sent to the state laboratory for inspection.
