In the Second Presbyterian church Rev. Warren Elsing will preach Sunday on the morning topic Seeking the Messiah and the evening message Peter the Impulsive.
At 11.00 A M the pastor preaches and at 2 30 P M Sunday school takes place with another preaching by the pastor. Monday evening April 19 a Ladies Aid Society special meeting at the parsonage for reorganizing and full attendance is desired. Friday evening prayer meeting followed by choir rehearsal.
The Y P C A of the Second Presbyterian Church will meet Sunday evening with the subject One Day in Seven for the Highest Things led by Ernest Campbell. The Social Club will meet next Thursday evening at the home of Mr and Mrs H J Butcher.
At Pioneer Grange No 1 on Tuesday evening a film titled A Concrete Romance was shown and a lecture by a representative of the Association of American Portland Cement Manufacturers in Philadelphia discussed extensive farm use of concrete. About eighty people attended.
The Cranbury typhoid outbreak shows signs of abating as several patients improve. Patients Blaine Davison Selah Davison Percy Wilson Isaiah Wilson Olivia Ogborn Laura Scudder Margaret Bergen Frances Bradley Harvey Dey Rolland Dey Waldo Perrine Grove Chappel Hickey Bisse Birne remain under hospital care at Mercer and St Francis hospitals.
Judge Rellstab names ancillary receivers Walter C. Noyes and William A. Marble of New York and Aaron V. Dawes of Hightstown to manage property in New Jersey tied to the alleged Greenhut-Siegel Cooper bankruptcy. Monmouth Securities Co alleges a $200,000 debt from the New York firm.

The State Bureau of Shell Fisheries investigates a Cranbury fever report linked to shellfish consumption. Past cases show typhoid not arising from shell fish, as the bureau conducts a thorough probe to determine the source. Fire on Milhurst Farm destroys William M Taylor's dwelling near Milliuret. loss about 5000 dollars with partial insurance.
A spring thunder shower blew down John W Kimble's barn at Hamilton Square burying four horses and five cows nine animals pulled from debris nine died, others injured. A brick church chimney collapsed into the rear of Hamilton Square Baptist church with the belfry damaged and many trees blown down.
A large 30 by 100 foot barn on H. W. Jeffers' Plainsboro farm burned Monday night at about 8:45. Nineteen horses were inside. ten saved, nine perished. Hay and straw burned. surrounding buildings saved by Princeton Fire Company. Loss around $7,000 with partial insurance.
A reception honored Mr. and Mrs. William J. Dey Wednesday at the Dey home near Cranbury. The event featured pink, white, and green decorations, an elaborate dinner, and guests from Cranbury Hightstown Applegarth Prospect Plains Jamesburg New Brunswick Hamilton Square Trenton Baltimore Portsmouth and more. Goodwin's Band delivered a serenade at about nine o clock, adding a surprise musical touch.
Eight scarlet fever cases in Princeton Borough drew health authorities attention. An investigation identified the disease source and prompt measures were taken to prevent further spread.

Hightstown Smyrna Rug Company begins construction on a three story addition worth about 75000 dollars to its plant in Hightstown. The new building will cover 50 by 100 feet and be devoted to Axminster rug manufacture with electric motors replacing shafting. The firm now employs 1300 people, to rise by thirty.
Governor Fielder signed the Diliptant bill allowing a special election to decide annexation of at least a half mile of land in East Wind sor Township. The election is expected late this month with backers of a larger Hights town predicting a decisive win amid little opposition. Most favorable landowners work or trade in the city seeking borough lights sewers water and other utilities. The proposal failed two years ago but many former opponents now favor it.
A young man posing as the son of a former friend deceived ex Mayor R. D. Norton in Hightstown by obtaining his signature on a forged $250 check drawn on B. Schuster Jr., Inc. of Merchantville. Norton verified the check with Camden National Bank before endorsing it. the man vanished and the forgery was later revealed.
Last Saturday Cranbury Grammar School Baseball Club lost to Jamesburg Grammar School 5 to 4. Tomorrow the two teams clash again in Jamesburg.
Mrs Martha A Heisley wife of Rev C W Heisley of the New Jersey Annual Conference of the Methodist Episcopal church died at her home near Farmingdale April 1 1915 after four years illness in her 87th year. She is survived by her husband and children Wilbur A Rev Frederick A Heisley and Mrs Martha A Clark. She was interred in Farmingdale cemetery after a sermon at Adelphia by Rev Valliant. Her memory and kindness drew many friends during 63 years with her husband in the ministry and nearly 68 years of marriage.
The Rev Dr William W Moffett pastor of the Kingston Methodist church died Monday at his home from pneumonia following a heavy cold. He served in multiple New Jersey churches and led the Princeton tenure from 1904 to 1915. Funeral services were held in Kingston and Princeton Cemetery interment followed. The New Jersey Conference notes several other ministers in poor health or deceased in recent weeks.
At the board meeting Tuesday the decision was made to grant Miss Laura Scudder a leave of absence for the rest of the school year due to typhoid fever. Mrs Clementine Lewis was appointed acting principal with a teacher to replace Lewis.
