Senior CE members hosted a farewell in the Chapel for Norman Applegate who has accepted a post in Galveston and left Cranbury for New York to sail at noon. Forty guests joined in songs and games with refreshments as the society wished him success in his new venture.

A large crowd filled the Second Church Auditorium for a Palm Sunday service featuring the cantata The Story of the Orient. Miss Marion Campbell played the organ and Mia. Arthur Clayton read aloud, drawing favorable remarks. An April 30 program is planned by the same choir.

Woman's Club Meeting Featured Local Talent
On April 12 at Miss Marie Groves home the Woman's Club hosted the Keyport Literary Club. The program included piano solos by Miss Dey and Miss Day of Hightstown, readings and original stories by Mrs. Webster and Mrs. Walling, an Indian Legend by Miss J. A Brown read by Miss Edith Wyckoff, and original verses. The sextet singers were Mrs. Perrine, Mrs. Stonaker, Mrs. Curry, Mrs. Dorrance, Mrs. Johnson, and Mrs. Dey. Refreshments followed.
