Isaac M Cubberley longtime Cranbury resident and retired farmer died suddenly Saturday evening after a period of poor health. He was son of the late William Cubberley and a member of Firs Presbyterian church. He leaves a widow Matilda Dey and four daughters Mrs Forman Wetherill Mrs Wycolf Vannest Mrs Clifford Stults and Mrs Grover Stults. Funeral services were held at his home with interment in Cranbury.

Robbers struck Mueller and New in New Brunswick on a Wednesday theft of diamond rings valued between 5000 and 6000 dollars. A well dressed man entered, returned at noon, then grabbed a tray of jewels at 2 pm and fled in a Ford stolen in Allentown Pennsylvania, abandoning the car near Bound Brook. Police traced nothing further.
