Lynn Creek zinc deposit to reopen under bond near North Vancouver

The Lynn Creek zinc mine above North Vancouver, recently abandoned by A B Trites and Co, is to reopen under bond to Porcupine Goldfields Development and Finance Co. Field representative O C Thompson says work will test the property's potential for large scale development. Zinc values around 10 percent have appeared in average assays, with diamond drilling needed to confirm a sizeable ore body. The site, well placed for possible tie in with the Ladysmith smelter, could support a mill if work proves promising.
