Bruce and poultry inspector Landon. Stock judging at Windermere crowned Margaret McClure top in cattle and Ayrshire heifers, with Howard Habart leading in horses. An evening meeting in Athalmor featured grain, sheep, and swine films along with results from the day’s judging.

Mirthful Carnival By Elks Lodge Draws Crowd and Prizes
The Elks carnival over Thursday to Saturday provided fun and prizes to many, with booths offering aluminum ware lamps and novelties. Despite good turnout and a Kimberley Band performance, expected profits fell short of a substantial surplus, totaling about eighteen hundred dollars for the three nights.

Cranbrook bowlers traveled to Bull River on Sunday and played the Luck rink on Garbutt ranch lawns.
