On Thursday July 11 the Ancient Order of Foresters opened Pride of Cranbrook Circle No 144 in Cranbrook. Deputy High Chief Companion Wm Henderson initiated 42 candidates and the circle elected officers including Chief Companion Mrs J Whittaker and Treasurer Madam Adeda Croce. The installing officer was W Henderson with W P McDonald assisting. The ceremony ended with a social gathering lasting late into the night.
