Tacoma Wash July 24 The Maskan Juneau Mining Company subsidiary of Alaska Treadwell works to tap eight hundred million dollars in gold by boring a seventy two hundred foot tunnel from Gastineau channel under Mount Roberts into Silver Bow basin. About a hundred fifty stamps installed plans call four million yearly for two hundred years. The tunnel will serve as a common carrier for ore from surrounding properties in Silver Bow Basin.
