The Associated Boards of Trade of eastern British Columbia endorse a memorial urging reciprocal trade with the United States to secure free exchange of zinc ore and zinc products. They condemn broad reciprocity for lead ores that would harm Canadian smelting and refining industries and call for a unified lead schedule. The group also seeks a mineral laboratory, a provincial mining school, and continued protection for local lumber from low grade American shipments.
