Fourteenth BC Bonspiel Ends with Hospitable Cranbrook Hosts
The BC Curling Association Bonspiel concluded last Saturday with Cranbrook hosts praised for hospitality to visiting rinks. Nelson’s Joe Thompson lauded Cranbrook, while Mayor Hunt and local figures toasted a memorable banquet and smoker at the Hotel Cranbrook. D.J. McSweyn and team led entertainment as Pinkham edged Duff in a Saturday scratch match, the losers donating a barrel of four to St Eugene hospital.
