Commissioner King wraps up the Vancouver probe as testimony reveals Gotch and the Wellington Col lieries Co. and Canadian Pacific Railway contracts to supply Japanese labor. The Wellington deal covered five hundred men at daily wages of 1.35 to 1.90 for five years with a sixty day termination notice, while the CPR contract ran to 1912 with a 30 day notice and wage guarantees from 1.35 to 1.65.
