About twenty members attended the Rod and Gun Club meeting in the city hall on August 18. A committee of Webster Dunn Campbell and Clapp was formed to raise funds by subscription and membership to cover costs of transferring fry to the district. Five new members were admitted and a $2.00 donation from W. H. Shira reported. Foster Dunn gave a long report on the Victoria Game Conservation Board meeting. The fundraising committee has $75 including an $85 donation from Otis Staples Lumber Co, enough to cover expenses.
