Godderis, at thirteen, competed against college entrants, while McClure became the first girl to judge at the Vancouver Fair.

First car crosses new Canadian Rockies road to Field
The first automobile to pass the new road linking Lake Louise and Field reached Wapta bungalow camp last week after eight miles from Lake Louise gate. Driven by George Tocher of Banff with Arthur Schmitzer of Calgary, the trip took 1 hour 29 minutes. The road may open to the public next June.

Crow Local Train Collides Head On With Engine
A Crow’s Nest to McLeod passenger train No 886 collided head on with a light pusher engine near Cowley Alberta at 11 Saturday morning.
