Kankakee to Chicago Railway Plan Shifts Service
William S. Reed of the Chicago and Southern Traction says the Kankakee to Lafayette line will start now from Kankakee to Chicago before finishing the Lafayette route. The Big Four will drop local trains to Kankakee once the Indiana Harbor line opens, sending trains to Chicago via Fowler. The C S Traction will run from Danville to Kankakee and then to Chicago.
