Only thirty witnesses attended including Katharine Jones of Kalamazoo and Cornelius Quick of Frankton. They will live at the Rinks flats Indianapolis after Sept 1. Nebeker is son of E H Nebeker former U S treasurer and works in Indianapolis.

Old Mussel Shell Found With 1x04 Carving
John Hold uncovered a mussel shell buried about nine feet below ground a quarter mile east of the Wabash bed. The inside bore the inscription 1x04. Mr. Hold gave the shell to Mrs. H. F. Royse, a collector of curios. An elder said the area was a deep slough in early days and the shell had been hidden for 101 years.

The annual reunion of Company C 86 Indiana was held at Osborns Prairie church last Friday. Attica Williamspor West Lebanon and other points were represented. Death of Mrs Charles Spurling at Brownsburg
Mrs Charles Spurling nee Etta Foredice died near the city Friday evening after a short illness from malarial fever. She was 25 years old with a husband a three year old son and seven month old twins. Funeral services led by Rev J P Henson were held at the old Graham farm residence and the remains shipped by train to Brownsburg for interment. Community sympathy surrounds the bereaved family.

Two Boys Die While Stealing Train Ride
The bodies of Charles and Leonard Barnard, aged 12 and 14, were found in a steel coal car near Watseka after two youths seeking a ride on a freight train reported the discovery. An inquest is scheduled for Friday. Authorities suspect the boys suffocated when heavy timbers shifted as the car moved.

Declared Insane in Indiana Town Tale
Mrs Harriette Gulley of Wallace was declared insane last week and moved Saturday to Central hospital in Indianapolis by Sheriff Hardesty. A 23 year old wife and mother of two, she is the daughter of George Brown of Wallace. The case is a sad one with hopes for swift recovery.

Indian Cemetery Found Near Mark Rogers Farm
Workmen uncover skeletal remains along the gravel pit near Mark Rogers farm west of the city overlooking the river. The bones are identified as Indians with men women and children represented, likely an early tribe burial ground. No vessels or implements found. Henry Clay Bryant, oldest brother of County Clerk Bryant, died Wednesday in Delevan Illinois at about eighty. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon. Fry Bryant left town Thursday to attend.

The Circus Has Gone From Covington Such Sells & Downs
The Sells and Downs show opened early Tuesday morning and performed in Covington from 2 to 4 30 pm entertaining about two thousand people. They loaded and departed at 8 30 pm for Gibson City Indiana. Weather threatened but crowds enjoyed a clean show and management plans a return next year with day and evening performances.
