Chippewa Valley Holstein sale prices dip amid political climate
At the 10th Chippewa Valley Classic in Chippewa Falls buyers paid 132 500 for 51 dairy animals, an unofficial average of 2 599, lower than Clark County sale levels despite strong cattle quality. Co chairs Don Mullen and Mervin Marquardt noted Washington comments and hail affected prices while top seller Johan Glendell Jo brought 5 400, sold to Bill Jahnke of Rochester.
