Milk price rise set for fall dairy support
The USDA will raise the milk price support to 80 percent of parity effective Oct. 1, with 3.5 milk projected at 9.50 to 9.57 dollars per hundred and 3.67 test milk at 9.73 to 9.80 dollars. West central Wisconsin dairy farmers may see increases of 29 to 36 cents for 3.5 milk and 30 to 37 cents for 3.67 test milk, as the exact level is set on Sept. 29 in the Agriculture Price Report.
