Seed corn harvest under way in Pierce County Wisconsin
In Pierce County the 75 day corn is in the bin while Jacques Seed Co in the border town uses four row pickers to harvest 100 and 105 day maturity seed corn. Seed corn must be harvested before first frost to preserve germination and is dried on the cob to 12 percent moisture over about four days.
