Feeder cattle sale slated by Northern Wisconsin Co-op
The Northern Wisconsin Beef Producers Co op sponsors a feeder cattle sale on October 24 at Equity Co op sale barn in Eau Claire. Calves must weigh at least 300 pounds, yearlings must be dehorned and healed, males castrated, yearling heifers open and Bangs tested, and consignments must be from producers owning cattle for at least four months. First 1,100 head accepted. consignments due October 15 with a $2 per head fee, forfeited if cattle are not delivered. Delivery by October 23 before 6 p.m.. contact Gene Meier for details.
