Wisconsin farmer Andrew Lund voices small-farm concerns at Des Moines conference
Andrew Lund of a 123 acre Wisconsin beef farm joined eight other Wisconsin farmers and 88 small farmers from 10 states at the USDA sponsored Small Farms Conference in Des Moines August 16 and 17. He urged tax reforms favoring production value, criticized excessive outside control, and called for more small farmer conferences while noting legislation remains the key to lasting change.
