Governor explains tax proposal to farmers NFO members urged to organize more production
Wisconsin Rapids delegates to the National Farmers Organization state convention urged members to organize farm production not just people. NFC vice president De Von Woodland said farm power lies in production and rural Americans can influence policy by controlling food and fiber. Ed Graf highlighted NFO dairy programs with calls from Iowa and Wisconsin members, while Allen Skroch defended nitrite concerns, noting low nitrite intake from smoked meats. Gary Kelling urged member signups to boost grain and overall participation.
