Eau Claire to host first county 4-H and FFA meat sale
Eau Claire County plans its inaugural 4 H and FFA meat animal sale at 8 p.m. July 18 at the 4 H fairground behind the Consumers Co op Shopping Center with Gary Pettis as auctioneer and UW River Falls specialist Dean Henderson judging the carcass contest at Frase s Locker in Augusta on July 22. The event aims to provide learning through feeding breeding and rate of gain while gradually integrating youth with regional shows and buyers from both local and Northwest events.
