They will also decide on lifting the jackrabbit closed season in eight years, decoy placement rules, underwater snares, and sight exposed baits to address wildlife protection and trapping efficiency.
The Wisconsin DNR says all 16.5 million conifer and hardwood seedlings sold out, but shrubs remain orderable this spring. Mixed crab, silky dogwood, wild plum, American hazel, ninebark and red osier dogwood are offered. Orders go through county foresters with a 500 minimum, or 100 per species if mixed.
