Eau Claire Holstein bull Max proves high milk production
Three Eau Claire County farmers lease sell a proven Holstein bull named Bootmaker Max to a California outfit, with 20 percent semen royalties and a $10,000 payout threshold. Max's PD tops 1,000 pounds in milk, 0.05 fat, and $92 value, based on eight herds and DHI testing, as semen distribution begins in California via Western Herdfires.
