Conrath hosts Rusk County June Dairy Month Open House
The annual Rusk County June Dairy Month Open House will be held this Friday June 27 at the Bob and Helen Patrick farm near Conrath. The event runs from about 5 p m to 9 p m and features a milking contest and dairy treats. The farm lies four miles south of Conrath on Range Line Road with directions via Marshall Cheese Factory and Highway 194.

Chippewa County 1986 corn loan set at $1.82 a bushel

Polk and Barron win Northwest District 4-H Dairy Day
Polk County led 11 county Dairy and Livestock Day with top junior and senior dairy riding teams. Keith Karpenski of Amery topped senior judges by 23 points, while Marty St John of Clear Lake was second among junior judges. Polk’s senior team members included Jill Handles, Phil Hansen, Trent Jensen, and Karpenski, coached by Neil Jensen and Walter Owens.
