Minnesota beef bull sale sets all time high average
Eighty performance tested beef bulls sold at the Minnesota Central Test Station spring sale in St. Paul. Nine Gelbvieh averaged 1780 dollars, 18 Simmentals 1644, 15 Angus 1393, 13 Charolais 1419, and other breeds reached varied top prices. A seven eighths Gelbvieh topped at 2550 dollars, with bulls branded as elite by the Minnesota Beef Cattle Improvement Association.

Hampshire Sheep Show in Seymour Planned by Wisconsin Association
The Wisconsin Hampshire Sheep Association schedules a second type conference for June 20 at the Alfred Pullin family farm in Seymour. A noon potluck precedes a judged show open to juniors and adults, with one vote per class per family. High-placing juniors win a $25 credit toward the November bred ewe sale.
