Nellie's Farm Fund tractor and wagon roll in parade

Milwaukee Bucks coach Don Nelson led a Nellie's Farm Fund parade in Slinger during the Washington County sesquicentennial. He donated a $1 tractor and a $1 forage wagon to launch the fund, aimed at Wisconsin farmers, with pledges tied to Nelson's weight loss by Oct. 11. The fund grew from a Wit tenberg dairyman’s plea and may become a cooperative program with more equipment donated later. The Wisconsin State Fair will showcase the effort for 11 days.
