Farm Wife Winners Ride in Colby Cheese Centennial Parade
Wisconsin Farm Wives of the Year for the past five years ride a float in Colby Cheese Centennial Parade. The 1982 Marie Skie from Merrill, 1981 Doreen Newman of Unity, 1979 Violet Wright from Amery, 1980 Audrey Sickinger of Cato, and current 1983 Katherine Weber of Brodhead join the procession. Each spring Colby hosts the state farm wife of the year banquet.
