An orientation for Sacred Heart Hospital's Positive Approach to Weight Control is set for January 7 at 7 p.m. in Treacy Hall. The eight week winter series runs Thursdays from January 14 with a $20 fee, limited to 25 participants.
A humorous tale about Aunt Myrtle who hangs asfidite resin around her children’s necks each winter to ward off illnesses. The practice makes them healthy but socially ostracized, as classmates and teachers avert from the odor. Despite this, the children grow up with strong attendance and apparent honor.
The Chippewa Valley Theater Guild will hold auditions for Gilbert and Sullivan's The Mikado on January 5 and 7 at the Parks and Recreation Building Eau Claire. Chorus parts auditioned in a group 730 to 830 p.m. Private auditions for other parts. Reading copies on reserve at L E Phillips Memorial Public Library Eau Claire. A general meeting for supporters January 11 at 730 p.m. at Parks and Recreation Building. Performances February 26 27 and March 4 5 6 at Central Junior High School auditorium.
