Dairy bowl starts Thursday evening, with workshops Friday afternoon led by UW dairy scientists Dr. David Dickson and Dr. William Mahanna. A career panel features industry and education leaders. Friday night features an awards banquet with Doering as guest speaker. Saturday includes an awards breakfast and the presentation of pedigreed heifer Miss America to its new owner.

Barron County ASCS director Wayne Brenholt urged dairy producers to complete two nonbinding forms to establish base milk production and expected participation in the dairy paid diversion program. Forms should be signed and returned before February 1 1984, with milk receipts from 1981 1982 and 1983 needed for the production history.
