Lundbergs expand dairy herd cautiously amid time strain
Allan and Obert Lundberg run a 56 cow operation on 320 acres with 200 more rented, feeding hay and haylage daily and balancing breeding cycles. They consider expansion to add stall space but fear needing more help and possible decline in care, hoping David may join later as Mr. Lundberg nears retirement. Kitty holds pen priority as cows freshen in selected pens.
