Two defendants dropped in Martell Mutual case ruling
A 26 page memorandum by Circuit Judge Thomas Barland dismissed Susan Mitchell and one insurer from the multi million dollar suit for policyholders of Martell Mutual Town Insurance. Other insurers and three state employees remain in the action as the trial set for February aims to recover losses from the windstorm and unpaid reinsurance.
