Muskies Inc funds research on musky genetics in Midwest lakes
Muskies Inc, a 3000 member group, will donate 4500 to Wisconsin DNA for a joint study with Minnesota DNA on genetic variability of muskies. The project, assisted by UW Stevens Point and Wisconsin Fisheries Research Cooperative Unit, aims to identify growth limiting factors and improve fishing through genetic insights and management changes.
