July milk production climbs to record US high
U S July milk output rises 8 percent from 1984 to 12 043 million pounds while Wisconsin posts 9 percent growth to 2 248 million. Seven month total reaches 83.3 billion pounds up 2.7 percent. Output per cow at 17120 pounds, 56 more than July 1984. Milk cow herd 11.1 million head up 21.5 percent. CCC buys 3.7 million pounds butter 11.6 million cheese 18.9 million nonfat dry milk for week of Aug 12-16. Milk equivalent 191.3 million pounds.

AMPI North Central approves multi-million farmer bonus plan
The AMPI North Central Region authorized a 25 cent per cwt bonus for milk produced in September November 1985 totaling over 2.5 million. A 40 percent of 1984 earnings payable in September will exceed 1.7 million. Additional fall payments include the 1980 Capital Revolvement over 4.4 million and 1975 Equity Revolvement about 1.6 million, with total cash payments to North Central member owners over 10.2 million.
