Baldwin youth named regional Star Agribusinessman
Bob Wolf Jr., 21, of Baldwin forged a rare path from a teen greenhouse owner to a regional Star Agribusinessman finalist. He built Baldwin and New Richmond operations, plans a vast 9-acre New Richmond complex, and projects a 1983 opening as headquarters. He employs 15 now, with 22 to 23 in spring, serves 12 nearby communities and 12 wholesale shops within 200 miles, and faces high heating costs. He left school at 15 to work, values the FFA and vocational training, credits adviser David Herman, and seeks future roles but prioritizes expanding his two firms and a third.
