Attendance dips at Indianhead Park feeder pig show and sale
Despite cooler turnout, 69 feeder pigs were judged and sold with 18 exhibitors and 18 buyers. The auction totaled 3672 dollars at an average 53.22 per pig, six gifts around 80 dollars each. Top grade pigs reached 65 dollars, with a high of 90 for overweight entries in 1980, and several prize pens named in lightweight and heavyweight classes.
