Harbor Center to be rebuilt as destination mall
The Harbor Center on Harbor Boulevard and Wilson Street will be demolished and rebuilt in October by ICI Holdings. Completion is planned for late 1999 with a new anchor mix including a supermarket Home Depot and a Rite Aid. The project aims to turn the 320,000 square foot outdoor mall into a regional shopping destination amid declining tenancy December sales figures and planning commission approval August 10.
