Columbus dispatches show William Jennings Bryan arriving to address a large crowd at Memorial hall. Coshocton and Newark Bryan clubs lead a heavy delegation with hundreds traveling by train, and city hotels report crowded Democratic enthusiasm over Harmon and Bryan.
Hugh Hays orchard on the eastern edge of the city reports a remarkable botanical freak each season. Half the tree bears ripe plums that melt in the mouth while the other half is in full blossom with foliage nearly concealed by white bloom, creating a striking color contrast.
Herbert Denman of this city bought the remaining half of the Linden Place Addition tract comprising seventy five city lots. Denman previously acquired the first half from his mother Matilda Denman for about $1. The earlier MecCrin purchase covered about seventy acres at roughly $100 per acre, marking one of the year's large real estate sales. John Kirk shipped a hog car to a Pittsburgh firm today.

Mrs Asa Loos of West Lafayette dies after long cancer struggle at age 60. Survived by husband JT B Loos of Indiana and son Virgil Loos of West Lafayette. Funeral at home Thursday afternoon at 2:30 with Rev Thrapp officiating. burial in West Lafayette Cemetery.
