Mrs Libby Black of our Second District remains on the Sick List as her health declines following a recent bout of illness. The trial proceedings for Dickerson resume as her condition is closely watched by local residents.

Washington December 3 The jury in the murder trial of Mrs Annie M Bradley for slain former Senator Arthur M Brown of Utah returned a not guilty verdict after deliberation. Bradley had claimed Brown wrecked her life with a broken marriage promise and shot him when he refused to help. The case drew intense public interest.
Mrs Hugh Daugherty fell through an open trap door into the cellar and lay unconscious for several hours. She suffered a crushed wrist and deep gash near the ear, with possible skull fracture awaiting further medical evaluation. Her husband had left the trap open when she fell.
Henry Lepp, son of Mike Lepp, was injured at the Klufman farm in Franklin Township when his left arm was caught in a feed shredder at about seven o’clock Tuesday morning. Doctors Frew and Pomerene attended him, deciding the arm would need removal below the elbow. He was taken to Geo Kaufman’s home to await further care.
