Coal Train Wrecks at West Virginia Tower
At 1 40 this morning T W V O coal train No 425 running from Newcomerstown to Mansfield wrecked at W V Tower just north of town. Nine cars derailed and 250 feet of track torn up with no injuries. Wrecking trains Dennison and Crestline arrived by 3 and 6 respectively and manned repairs until 7 45. Track and car damage limited to two cars. Cause unknown.

Lost valuable farm horse in a peculiar accident
Win Nosker of Randles farm in Bethlehem township tied a horse to a cultivator with a wire and the neck yoke to the tongue. The horse ducked its head and the wire pierced the head back of the ear. After distress the animal collapsed and died two days later. The horse valued at 150 dollars was a grievous loss to the farmer.

McGee of Wallace faced perjury charges in the Haywood case, had a probate court hearing, and was bound over for trial on his own recognizance. Dr Mette testified Orchard was to Wallace in August 1904, with Orchard as a witness against him and not to Idaho at the time. Miss Faye Griffin of West Lafayette is in town today.
