Basin Road Proposition Sent To Chief Engineer
At the State Board of Public Works session Coshocton matters were discussed. A petition from fifteen residents near Six Mile Dam asked an apron to be built over the new structure to aid spring fish migration. The board referred the petition to Chief Engineer C L E Perkins for report. Another petition urged wearing the low path along the Coshocton basin for road purchases, also referred to Perkins. The board approved Perkins plan for a reinforced concrete arch over Beaver Run with cost shared by state and county. A spring flood washed out the highway bridge near Canal Lewisville. A permit was issued to erect a swing bridge over the canal at Clark's Crossing near Prairie Chapel, to roughly resemble the Orange structure but with improvements.
