The Coshocton County League plans April 28 opening, McClurg balls for this season, practice slots at Riverside Park, and trophies from Daily Times and Age. Otsego seeks inclusion. decision expected by Tuesday.
Coshocton defeated Newark 644 to 79 on Newark’s home floor Friday night as Coshocton’s Powelgon, Preston, McDonald, Tim Tons, and Overholt led scoring. McDonald had a top game of 63, Preston 61, in a usefully detailed but garbled bowling report amid the Columbus men sweeping the prizes in the preceding individual tournament.
