Gas Well Opens Flow Boost Near Coshocton
A well drilled by Captain James near Coshocton released a strong gas flow after a Friday shot by Gourley of the Louitz Torpedo Company. A water column reached 200 feet, three tubes carried 20 quarts each, and the gas ignited to a 16 foot flame. Prospectors see good potential with an estimated 50 000 cubic feet capacity per day, pending additional wells. Captain James plans a second well about a quarter mile away once John Kissner completes Gross land work.
